Led by Steve Stern, with publishing through 1First Comics, Monogram Comics supports the development of characters and story worlds in print. Comics are an important part of our plans to introduce properties, deepen their mythology, and create a foundation for future screen adaptations—including The Ape Man.

Under Alon Cohen, Chief Executive Officer, and Alejandro J. Arango, President, Monogram Records represents the music side of our entertainment vision, creating opportunities for recording projects, artist collaboration, and connections between music and visual storytelling.
Our production efforts bring together Roy Shellef and collaborators including IMN Creative, supporting the creative and technical work required to move projects from development toward delivery.
Alongside new productions, Monogram’s business includes an 82-title catalog and plans to expand the reach of its library through licensing, restoration, remastering, and distribution where applicable rights allow. Our strategy considers theatrical, television, digital, and home-entertainment opportunities according to each title’s audience and commercial potential.
We also aim to serve independent filmmakers who need experienced partners to help their films reach the marketplace.
We see Monogram’s future as a connected entertainment business—one where a comic can introduce a screen character, music can become part of a film’s identity, animation can extend a story world, and distribution can help creative work find its audience.
Our priorities are to advance the film slate, strengthen our creative and commercial partnerships, develop our divisions, and build a growing library of entertainment with long-term value. We intend to grow with discipline, matching each project’s ambition to a practical production and distribution strategy.
